We met within the walls of the same boarding school, and over time, we grew to become friends in our senior years. Together, we shared every experience that boarding school life had to offer, the laughter 😆, the struggles, and the memories that only those walls could hold until graduation came and life took us in separate directions. Just like that, we lost contact, and the years began to pass.

A decade went by before life brought us back to each other at Ayodeji’s convocation ceremony in Scotland, and something stirred in us both. Seeing each other again after so many years apart was enough to bring our old friendship rushing back to the surface, warm, familiar, and very much alive. But this time, it did not stop there. This time, it grew into something deeper than either of us had expected 👩‍❤️‍👨.

What had once been a close and treasured friendship slowly and beautifully turned into love as we began talking again. Every moment we shared felt like rediscovering something we never should have lost 😍.

Our love story reached its most beautiful peak on September 14th, 2024, when we both looked at each other and agreed wholeheartedly and joyfully to spend the rest of our lives together in marriage 💍.

What began as a simple friendship had, through time and grace, grown into one of the greatest blessings life has ever given us.
